This statement was made by a committee official here, Tuesday.
Renni Soviahani remarked that the bazaar, scheduled on Sept 12-19, will be supported by 35 state-owned companies that have, so far, helped develop small and medium enterprises (UKMs).
"This international event will be an opportunity for us to help promote the potential of UKM products," she noted.
The Nusantara Bazaar located in one of the corners at Grand Inna Garuda, where the meetings are held, offers fashion, culinary, and artwork products selected in terms of their quality and marketability.
"The prices vary from the cheapest, at Rp50 thousand (around $3), to the most expensive, at Rp200 million. They may buy them directly or through Blanja.com," she revealed.
Soviahani is optimistic that 70 percent of the products would be sold in view of thousand delegates, who would attend the meetings.
"I dare set the target, as there will 1,500 domestic delegates and 200 from 44 foreign countries," she remarked.
Indonesia has been trusted to be the host of the 35th General Assembly of the ICW on Sept 12-20. The meeting, which is held along with the national meeting of one thousand Indonesian women organizations, is scheduled to be officially opened by President Joko Widodo.
The event is organized by ICW as well as Kowani, or the Indonesia Women Congress, supported by the ministry of state-owned companies and 35 state-owned ones, including Perum LKBN Antara.
